The nationals had it share of dramas for the team, in the first qualifier Aaron hurt his good engine and had to replace it with a 3 year old power plant. Aaron ended up in tenth position after the four round of qualifing and would run Nick Xerakis in the first round.
Tyronne had a better run and ended up qualifing in the top half of the field in third place and had to face Rick Chilton in the first round.
Aarons day ended early. Even after a huge holeshot advantage and a .011 reaction to Xerakis .051 and an impressive 7.17 out of the old engine was not enough as Nick drove past for the win with a personal best pass of 7.091.
Tyronne was against Chilton and Rick redlighted his chances away with Tyronne running a 7.185 time for the win. His next opponent would be Michael Ali.
A bad choice of lanes in the next round saw Tyronne nearly loose the race as his car spun voilently off the line. Except for a huge reaction time advantage with Tyronne going .005 on the tree to Michael's .074, Tyronne winning on a holeshot. This would give Tyronne's next opponent Nick Xerakis lane choice
As expected Xerakis decided to run the right hand lane leaving Tyronne in the left lane. Xerakis led all the way running a 7.123 sec pass to Tyronnes 7.172 pass. This would put Tyronne in equal third place in the championship chase with Aaron in fifteenth spot.
