Now it is Tyronnes turn, Tyronne qualifies one with Lee Bektash in two and Aaron in third position. First round action and  Aaron breaks the National record with an unbelievable 7.11. Tyronne is up next, he runs the impossible and puts himself into the history books. The first zero run in pro stock history, a 7.075 sec pass at an incredible 192.22mph. Semi Final time, Aaron goes out to Lee Bektash after a bit of a staging duel. Tyronne runs Dave Newcombe, Dave is early and runs a red light. Tyronne backs up his 7.07 pass with another awesome zero pass of 7.09 pass and resets the National record. Finals time the starter motor wire has come off Tyronnes car and fails to fire. Tyronne’s opponent Lee Bektash shows good sportsmanship and shuts down and waits. Burnouts are over Tyronne is in, Lee waits another 13 sec to stage as Tyronne is on the limiter. Lee has the holeshot but Tyronne drives around him with another 7.07 sec pass, what a great win and what a terrific way to end the 2007-2008 season. Back to back Winternationals for Tyronne.
