After the impressive ET's run by Tyronne and Aaron at the Winters warm up a week previous and Tyronne becoming the fastest pro stock car in Australia running an impressive 7.15 sec pass ,it was no surprise that the they were on top after qualifying. Qualifying with a side by side 7.16 pass with reaction times Tyronne .007 and Aaron .012. This pass earned them  an award for the best side by side pass at Willowbank.

Tyronne continued his good form advancing through to the finals where he meet Shane Tucker. Tucker who had beaten  brother Aaron in the semis tried to unsettle rookie Tyronne who was in his first final. Tyronne goes in, Shane waits, goes in, slight hole shot to Shane, Tyronne drives around him. What a great win to Tyronne and the Tremaniac Team
