This round was added to the championship after the dates on the 2007-2008 official calender were set. With the arrival of two new cars from America, Tremaniac racing was to use the break between the Nationals and the Summernationals to set up and test the cars ready for the next meeting in February 2008. Arriving with just two weeks to spare the team were doing the finishes touches to the cars at the track before qualifying. With their first run being a license pass and only allowed half track passes meant the team only had two qualifing passes  to get into the field, a big ask for the team. What an effort, Tyronne comes out and qualifies in second position. Aaron whose car was fitted with the spare engine qualifies in fifth place. Last qualifying session the air and track conditions have deteriorated, Tyronne and Aaron set the pace running the fastest times for the session.

Unfortunately Aaron loses in Round One to Dave Newcombe. Tyronne advances to round two but a re-run was called due to the starter having a major stuff-up. Unfortunately for Tyronne his chutes deploy before he fires up. He runs out of time as his opponent Jason Grima is directed to stage by the starter. Still  an excellent start for the new cars
